An exhibition with a difference

Quest inculcates scientific temper among children right from the age of six. Children not only learn how to handle various apparatus but grow to love subjects like science and maths, which most of them initially find difficult. Quest welcomes children from all economic backgrounds and gives them the learning they wish to get. The center provides a platform not only to learn science and maths but also for the underprivileged children to interact with the privileged and vice versa. The underprivileged children look forward to coming to Quest as an outing and also dress up in their best outfits. Quest has provided them with an opportunity to grow and develop into better individuals

The Door Step School and Quest jointly conducted an exhibition for the children from the school to showcase their experiments to one and all.
It was a wonderful set up- when you entered Quest you were asked to get your weight and height checked by the children, as an effort for them to learn how the weight and height must be checked.
As you were given your height and weight card, there were little children eager to show what they had to display. Most of them were very enthusiastic and confident to show their experiments. Each one of the experiments conducted had a 'wow factor', - a simple way to learn the various concepts of science and maths. None of the children seemed to be afraid of the subject, ‘Science’ and conducted and explained their experiments with ease. That is the magic that Quest creates for you!

They were all very excited when we were talking to them and taking pictures of them. Though some were shy at the beginning, they soon became comfortable with us.  Their smiling faces welcomed each and everyone who came to them. Also they were ready to do their experiments again and again and also gave others a chance to perform their experiments if they liked.

I am very happy that I was a part of Quest and always will be.  I am very proud of all these children who did a great job at their exhibition and hope that they continue creating a difference in their lives through their smiles and actions.
